My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown had its ups and downs. While the location was fantastic and the pool area was a hit, I faced serious issues with the front desk staff who were not accommodating. The heating system was a significant downside, making my nights uncomfortable. Overall, it had potential but left me wanting more. 😕

Rooms

The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, but small for the price.
Service
5.0
Although I encountered some friendly staff, my experience with the front desk team was disappointing due to their rudeness and lack of professionalism.
Location
8.0
The location is excellent, close to attractions and with great parking, but it feels a bit isolated in an industrial area.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was decent, but I wasn't pleased that it wasn't included in my stay and turned out to be more expensive than expected.
Facilities

Facilities included a small pool area, but the HVAC system made it hard to enjoy my stay comfortably.

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown had its ups and downs. While the hotel looked nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating, my room felt more like a budget motel than a Hilton. The minor inconveniences, like breakfast not being included and the shuttle hours, also affected my overall experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room was smaller than I expected and the amenities felt basic, not what I usually associate with a Hilton Garden Inn. The bed wasn't the standard you'd expect, and the overall feel was a bit dated.
Service
8.0
The front desk staff really impressed me when they handled my booking issue efficiently. They went out of their way to get me settled, even without my credit card, which I appreciated greatly; however, some maintenance interactions weren't as smooth.
Location
6.0
The hotel is situated in a rather industrial area, making it a bit inconvenient for dining options without a car. However, there was a nice coffee shop nearby that I enjoyed.
Dining
7.0
I had some fantastic meals at the restaurant, especially the omelets and the grilled salmon. But it would have been great to know breakfast was an additional cost beforehand—a small but annoying detail.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities offered were decent but some areas felt worn and needed updating. Plus, the lack of consistent hot water was a letdown during my stay.

The Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown is beautifully located and has a wonderful staff. though my stay had its share of challenges. The breakfast option was limited, and the building felt somewhat dated in certain areas. On top of that, I had an issue with the temperature control in my room, which impacted my overall experience.

Rooms
7.0
My king room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, yet the decor felt a bit outdated and there was a noticeable lack of hot water during my stay. I also noticed some wear and tear in the furnishings, which was disappointing.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Maria at the front desk who made me feel very welcome. However, I did encounter some difficulties with customer service regarding my room issues, which could have been handled better.
Location
7.0
The location is great, situated just off the freeway and close to various attractions. However, it felt a bit isolated with not many dining options within walking distance, which limited my choices.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast options quite limited and the service during meal times to be a bit unprofessional. There were good choices, but they were not executed exceptionally well.
Facilities
6.0
While there were nice amenities like a pool that looked inviting, some aspects were lacking such as outdated furnishings and a general need for maintenance. Parking was also a hassle with the walk from the lot to the hotel.

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown had its highs and lows. While the location was fantastic and the hotel was clean, I found the rooms to be a bit dated and the service inconsistent, particularly at check-in. I appreciated the helpfulness of other staff members, but the unfriendly attitude from one employee was concerning.

Rooms
6.0
I felt the room was spacious but quite dated in decor and furnishings. The bed was too firm for my liking, and the noise from the street made it hard to rest.
Service
5.0
While the front desk was efficient, my experience was marred by sarcasm from one staff member. However, other staff members were pleasant and helpful.
Location
8.0
The location was excellent, just off the freeway and close to the airport, making access to nearby areas very convenient.
Dining

Breakfast options were limited, especially for dietary restrictions, as I found the food not very accommodating for my needs.
Facilities

The hotel offered basic amenities, but the security around the parking area could be improved.

I had a mixed experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown. While the location is convenient and the staff were friendly and familiar, I did encounter some issues like parking safety and room noise. Overall, there’s potential here, but improvements are definitely needed.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious but lacked updates, and I was bothered by outside noise due to single-pane windows. It also didn't feel great sleeping on such a firm bed for three nights.
Service
7.0
The front desk team was generally attentive and quick during check-in. However, my request for an accessible room wasn’t accommodated, and there were some issues that contributed to my overall frustration.
Location
6.0
I felt like the hotel is situated in an industrial area, making it inconvenient for dining and attractions without a car. Public transit was a plus, but it didn't feel particularly secure regarding parking options.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast offered felt quite average for the price, especially since the restaurant was closed during my stay. I would have loved more options instead of a standard, lackluster meal.
Facilities
5.0
I was disappointed that the pool and jacuzzi were closed, as well as the restaurant. The bar was also not open on prime nights, which could have enhanced my stay significantly.
